With one of the most talented teams in Bacon lacrosse history, the JV team is benefiting with the overload of Varsity level players. Many are splitting time between both the JV and Varsity squads. The JV Team has dominated most of their competitors and under the guidance of Coach Chris Loskant, the team is improving each game.
Middies Nick Cavaliere, Zach Johnson, Conor McCourt, Kyle Krystofik, David Ashley, Matthew Voiland, Lucas Slomski and Owen Lavender are winning face-offs, securing ground balls, moving the team from defense to offense, and scoring goals to the lead the team.
Attackmen Ethan Hahn, Yani Valkanos, Josh Kowinski, Zach Wilkins and Mike Whipple keep constant pressure on the opposition's defense and have worked together to score several goals.
Defensemen Dan Komoroski, Jake Cavallo and Kyle Wright are playing most minutes of each game and have joined forces to shut down the opponent's offense.
Goalie Connor Sullivan continues his strong play in net, giving up an incredible 1.7 goals per game average in just his second year between the pipes. Sullivan also shut-out Griswold for an entire half of a Varsity game.
